Maryam is a passionate Persian dance trainer, choreographer, and belly dancer whose journey began in her teenage years. Growing up in Iran, where dancing was prohibited, she pursued her art in private, driven by a deep love for Persian dance. Over time, she also embraced belly dance, adding new layers of expression to her artistry.
After moving to Adelaide in 2022, Maryam continued her studies and refined her skills in belly dance under the guidance of amazing masters. Since then, she has not only performed at major festivals and cultural events, including multiple appearances at the Adelaide Fringe Festival , but has also established herself as a dance instructor, offering regular classes and running various workshops to share her passion with the community.
Maryam now offers regular dance classes and workshops in Adelaide, sharing the beauty of Persian and Middle Eastern dance with the community. For Maryam, dance is more than movement, it is a language of passion, expression, and connection. She continues to learn and grow, believing that there is no end to the journey of dance, and she is always excited to welcome new students and participants into her classes and workshops.
